Matrox Graphics, is a leading manufacturer of real-time encoding/decoding and graphics and video processing products used by OEMs and end users for applications in video walls, multi-viewers, AV-over-IP, graphics and video recording applications, enterprise video management systems, KVM extension, and multi-display graphics workstations.

We are searching for a Regional Sales Manager, based in the US Northeast. As a member of the Sales team, your main mission is to execute the full sales cycle for new and existing products.

Your primary tasks will include:
  • Assist customers with advancing OEM design work;
  • Close all key customers in the assigned territory by completing all the key tasks in the sales cycle required to overcome technical and commercial obstacles to generate orders;
  • Capture customer requirements, participate in and document detailed technical communications between Matrox and OEM customers;
  • Conduct training, in person or by web, of technical material;
  • Build strong relationships with existing and new OEM customers, as well as with partners;
  • Cooperate with in-territory 3rd-party partners including: consultants, integrators, developers, resellers, distributors, independent hardware vendors, and independent software vendors on synergistic opportunities;
  • Maintain an official sales pipeline, including status of technical issues, for the Vice-President, Americas/Asia AV/IT and US Sales Director;
  • Generate sales forecasts for the assigned territory and revise once per quarter.
  • Maintain a contact list and update the US Sales Director once per quarter

Qualifications:

  • Great communications skills (Impeccable English verbal and written skills;
  • Good organizational skills and ability to maintain clear progress reports;
  • Strong multitasking skills and efficient time-management;
  • Experience with enabling and managing sales accounts (at least 1 year);
  • Experience with sales quotas and performance targets (at least 1 year);
  • The selected candidate must be able to work full work days (40 hours per week) from a HOME OFFICE;
  • This position involves a high degree of TRAVEL within Northeast and surrounding states by automobile, and the employee must have a valid driver's license.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Assets (preferred but not required):
  • Software development experience
  • Device programming (AV, robotics, embedded systems, etc.)
  • Networking experience
  • Specific knowledge for video over IP such as codecs (H.264, etc.) or protocols for video transmission over IP
  • Specific knowledge for video processing such as scaling, compositing, de-interlacing, etc.
  • Experience working with value-added resellers, distributors, or consultants
  • Writing experience including white papers, manuals, marketing documents, sales presentations, etc.
  • Public-speaking experience
