Summary of the position

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Representative, Employment brand will be responsible for general HR tasks with a special focus on enhancing corporate visibility as an employer, through social media and other platforms/activities.

Objective

To be in the forefront of Matrox corporate branding for the purpose of recruitment and visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Together with the HR team, design and develop the HR branding strategy for recruitment and corporate presence, including the different material to be used to increase visibility and candidate interest in career fairs, universities, schools and other recruitment events;
  • Remain up to date on recruitment trends and best practices, including titles and job descriptions;
  • In collaboration with with the Human Resources Director, develop and implement the HR social media strategy;
  • Create and maintain a sustained HR presence on social media to increase Matrox's visibility and reach to potential candidates;
  • Promote Matrox's image and values through social media and general communications as well as publicize events and activities in which Matrox or its employees participate;
  • Liaise with the Marketing department to feature products or user stories from an HR perspective;
  • Create corporate messages, when required;
  • Participate in all aspects of the recruitment process and perform active recruitment through social media to assist the Human Resources team,
  • Expand the company's presence on different employment sites and develop creative ways to draw prospective employees to the company's website;
  • Compile employee surveys and summarize recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Marketing with an Human Resources component;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a corporate human resources or marketing role, including dealing with corporate branding from a recruitment perspective;
  • Extensive knowledge of social media;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in French and English;
  • Autonomous and attentive to details;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capacity to work well within a team and in a fast paced-environment;

Assets

  • Experience managing website content and working with Google analytics will be considered an asset.
