Description

The candidate will be part of the Information Technology (IT) department whose objective is to answer the company's IT needs and to ensure its proper functioning. As a Programmer / Applications developer you will take part in the development and maintenance of applications used by various business units of the firm.You must be willing to work in a varied environment and be well versed in different programming languages.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Help in the development of new applications
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications.
  • Perform complete testing of applications, engaging users as necessary.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least one year experience in a similar position would be an asset.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team to meet deadlines.
  • Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills in French and English.
Technical skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, programming principles and protocols (Java, C#, ASP.NET, Ajax, XML).
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of database architecture and design using Microsoft SQL.
