Description

THE IMAGING DIVISION

The Imaging division provides software and hardware solutions to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and to integrators of machine vision systems.

The software group develops sophisticated tools for the acquisition, processing and analysis of images. The algorithms in the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) are known around the world for their rapidity, robustness and reliability. They can locate objects, extract and precisely measure their features, identify and track parts using 1D and 2D barcode readers or string readers (OCR), or do 3D data processing.

The MIL Copilot team

Our team design and develop the MIL CoPilot software, a new tool that allows the client to interactively use the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) functions to process and analyze images.

Responsabilities

We are looking for a motivated programmer who will be working as part of a dynamic development team, and will be involved in all development phases of the MIL CoPilot application starting from the design to the final product delivery. To participate in the design and development of the new application, the successful candidate will need to familiarize himself with the MIL library and possess or acquire notions of image processing and machine vision.

Qualifications:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or software engineering.
  • Possess strong knowledge of object-oriented programming in C#.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, C++ and WPF a good asset.
  • Have interest for the design of user interfaces.
  • Knowledge of different technologies is a plus: XML, Perl, Python.
  • High degree of initiative and creativity.
  • Self-motivated and meticulous.
  • Have strong teamwork and people skills.
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).
