Matrox Graphics is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative hardware and software in the field of high performance display devices across multiple niche markets. We manufacture, sell, market and support a wide range of innovative graphics & video solutions; including video wall controller boards and software, multi display graphics cards, fibre optic & IP KVM, encoders/decoders enabling video over IP, graphics expansion modules for PC and Mac.

 

With a growing range of technically complex products, Matrox Graphics is now seeking a technically as well as commercially astute individual to join the team.

 

This is a varied and exciting technical sales role representing a well-known and reputed brand. It requires an enthusiastic, flexible and self-driven person to work as part of the Munich Office sales team to support existing customers and channel partners and develop new accounts in Italy, Turkey and Greece. The role is based in the Munich Office, but regular travel to the territories is expected.

 

Responsibilities

 

·          Evaluate customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions from the Matrox product range.

·          Proactively seek new customers and channel partners in a growing number of markets and application areas including: Digital Signage, Control rooms, Industrial Automation & Production, Security, Military, Emergency Services, Transportation, Corporate & Enterprise Education, and many others.

·          Arrange and attend meetings with prospective and existing end customers in the territories the Munich Office has responsibility for.

·          Represent Matrox at tradeshows and other business events.

·          Motivate, manage and continuously develop channel partners across the territories.

·          Conduct product demonstrations and presentations as appropriate with a view of securing business for Matrox.

·          Develop partner eco-system across the territories for collaborative sales & marketing purposes.

·          Provide sales training to channel partners, customers and eco-system partners.

Qualifications:

Qualification & Experience

 

·          A bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer engineering or Business.

·          A minimum of 5 years of experience in an AV, IT or technology oriented sales, pre-sales or business development role.

·          Understanding of different Codecs and IP streaming protocols / networking.

·          Previous experience of conducting business in Italy, Turkey and/or Greece is an asset.

·          Knowledge of direct and indirect sales models.

·          Works well within a small, but busy team, as well as on own initiative.

·          Self-motivated, positive and focused with personal drive and initiative.

·          Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.

·          Flexible and able to adapt to changeable situations and requirements.

·          Good oral and written communication skills in Italian, English and German are essential.

·           (Good oral and written communication skills in Turkish is an asset.)
