Matrox MED Series display controller boards adopted by The Linden Group for high-resolution, grayscale images

Optik View 3 and 5MP medical displays bundled with Matrox boards provide medical imaging professionals with superb image quality for more accurate diagnoses

Montreal, Canada, January 29, 2008—Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of professional graphics solutions, today announced that The Linden Group, producer of Optik View medical displays, will bundle Matrox MED™ Series display controller boards with its MDM 3 MP and MDM 5 MP grayscale medical displays. This bundle combines the pristine image quality of Matrox's display controller boards and high quality of the Optik View displays to produce a high-functionality bundle aimed at radiologists' needs.

Matrox MED Series display controller boards, including the MED2mp, MED3mp, MED4mp and MED5mp, represent a top-to-bottom approach for display configurations supporting landscape and portrait modes. The Matrox MED Series brings advanced functionality and flexibility to the medical imaging market with extensive multi-monitor support, pristine image quality and robust drivers. Capable of driving all types of displays, MED Series display controller boards boast the widest range of grayscale and color, resolution and operating system support on the market, making them ideal solutions for medical imaging professionals who demand the utmost in flexibility, quality, software compatibility and product features.

All color medical displays feature industry leading color/monochrome consistency, 8-bit to 10-bit conversion algorithm and advanced 10-bit technology. All displays meet the most stringent medical, safety and EMC emissions standards including: EN60601-1, TUV/GM, CE, CB, CSA C22.2 No.601-1, VCCI, FCC, *FDA510(K), AAPM-TG18.
