The Matrox Extio™ 3 high-performance IP KVM extenders were honored with a Best of Show Award at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2020. The prestigious AV awards program celebrates Extio 3 as a best-in-class IP KVM extension and switching solution capable of delivering secure, ultra-low-bitrate 4Kp60, dual 4Kp30, or quad 1080p60 video signals over a standard Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) network.
Matrox joins the AIMS Pro AV Working Group in advocating for the adoption of a single AV-over-IP standard, aimed to address issues specific to the industry including security, HDCP support, and I/O expansion.

As a prominent manufacturer in its own right, and a long-time full member of AIMS, Matrox is well-placed to observe the transition to the Pro AV market’s adoption of a single open standard.
“When everything is based on a single open standard, users are able to mix and match the best products to suit the customer’s needs,” says David Chiappini, vice president of research and development, Matrox Graphics Inc.
“The important thing about IP is that its usefulness is maximized when it is interoperable with [a wide range of] products and software from other vendors. We [Matrox] are advocates of open standards"
"As a company that provides only strictly standards-based products, what inspires integrators about Matrox is the way Matrox products mesh well with hardware and software products from other companies so seamlessly.”
