Multi-Display Graphics Cards Power 30 Setups Across Six Stores to Enhance Customer Shopping Experiences

Matrox M9148 quad-monitor graphics cards power three 1x4 “innovation pods”, while M9188 octal-monitor cards drive a band of monitors overhead that display social media information.
MONTREAL — 12 December 2013 — Matrox Graphics today announced that Canadian telecommunications company Shaw recently deployed interactive digital signage driven by Matrox M-Series™ multi-display graphics cards in six of its Western Canadian stores. Integrator Trapeze, a full-service marketing agency contracted by Shaw alongside store-designer Breakhouse, selected M9188 and M9148 cards to power 30 total setups across the chain of retail outlets.
In each store, a 20-monitor band powered by M9188 octal-monitor graphics cards surrounds customers with social media information displayed overhead. In addition, customers can use a touch screen to browse through Shaw’s different products and services on one of five quad-display information pods powered by M9148 quad-monitor cards. In addition, Matrox PowerDesk software, which comes with M-Series cards and other Matrox multi-monitor solutions, is used to manage each output.
