Award-winning Matrox CompressHD card featuring Matrox MAX technology speeds up HD H.264 file creation for Blu-ray, Flash, YouTube, and other web formats
Montreal, Canada – January 18, 2010 — Matrox® Video Products Group today announced support for the Matrox CompressHD H.264 encoding accelerator card in conjunction with the Matrox Axio LE and RT.X2 realtime editing platforms.

Software release 4.2 for the Matrox Axio LE and RT.X2 platforms also provides support for the Windows 7 64-bit operating system and Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder CS4 4.2, as well performance enhancements for AVCHD, AVC-Intra, XDCAM EX, and P2 editing workflows.
Price and availability
Matrox CompressHD, a low-profile, half-length PCIe x1 card, is priced at $495 US (£375, €449) not including shipping and local taxes. It is now available through a worldwide network of authorized dealers. The Matrox 4.2 software release is available as a free download from the Matrox website for registered owners of Matrox Axio LE and RT.X2.
