Solution
VolkerWessels Telecom NOC staff are now using a 6x2 curved video wall of 47-inch screens installed in front of five operator desks. The video wall is driven by a combination of three Matrox QuadHead2Go appliances, as well as one Advantech AVS-540 chassis that is powered by Matrox Mura IPX capture & IP decode and D-Series graphics cards. Displayed with flawless image quality, video wall content is sourced from direct video uploads from staff desktops, HTML5, third party applications, and physical inputs such network computers and dashboards. A centralized deployment of VView’s Classic software on Windows PCs allows users to securely access and manage video wall content directly from a browser. Further, staff can also access the same video wall management software via the VView app installed on iPads.
