4K/UHD 4:4:4 sub-sampling and H.264 video encoding

Benefit from the best balance of bitrate and compression demands for your application

Fully ruggedized

MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-901E ensure operation in the harshest environments

Flexible support for a variety of streaming protocols and file formats

Support SRT, RTSP, RTP, RTMP, MPEG2-TS, and HLS protocols, and MP4, MOV, and fMP4 formats

Quad output at ultra-low latency

Ensure high-density content distribution without sacrificing quality

Compact, quiet form factor

Support up to eight 4K streams and recordings from a single U of rack space with quiet operation at less than 25 dB

Made in North America and TAA compliant

Integrated design, engineering, and manufacturing based in Canada—a TAA-designated country—for guaranteed quality and reliability

The Matrox Video advantage

Low latency streaming. High quality experience.

Achieve zero-latency pass-through for real-time output of audio/video content on up to four rugged 4K displays. Maevex TAA-certified, TAA-compliant quad 4K encoders ensure high-density content distribution and system scalability—all to enhance situational awareness and after-action review. The Maevex 6152 encoder can have latency as low as 16 ms.

Leverage existing infrastructure

Integrate this ruggedized version of the Matrox 6152 quad encoder into existing infrastructures for seamless interoperability. Maevex uses standard 1 Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure to allow many streams of any quality to be transmitted on a single cable, eliminating the need for a dedicated distribution network.

Secure streaming over LAN, WAN, or internet

Enjoy a variety of streaming protocols—HLS, MPEG2-TS, RTP, RTMP, RTSP, and SRT—for secure, trouble-free streaming. Support for the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) video transport protocol means that secure, low-latency, and high-performance streaming is also possible on unpredictable networks. Finally, HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) provides direct delivery of video content in deployed environments

Multi-4K video

Deliver real-time 4K video streaming and recording so that you can monitor and analyze evolving situations while protecting valuable video data from vulnerabilities—even in the most demanding and unpredictable operating conditions.

Always powered. Always on.

Safeguard against a potential loss of power. Available rack-mounted, multi-output redundant power supply units (RPSU) ensure uninterrupted operation of your ruggedized Matrox device in case of a power module failure and a redundant power input in case a circuit breaker trips.
