Responsibilities

Reporting to the Supervisor of the 3D Camera team, you will lead a team of hardware designers and technicians whose mandate is to design, compose and validate the electronic circuits of 2D and 3D image sensors, as well as their circuits composed of interface, logic programmable, optical elements for imaging, illumination and projection. In particular, you will have to:

  • Specify the functionality, layout and performance of the circuits;
  • Participate in the development of the schedule and the evaluation of resources to be assigned to projects;
  • Supervise and participate:
    • Circuit designs and input of diagrams into CAD tools;
    • Burn-in and verification of prototype cards;
    • Functional validation of circuits on test benches to ensure electrical, climatic and electromagnetic compliance and verify the qualification reports;
    • To make corrections and / or modifications to the circuits when necessary;
  • Verify the accuracy of manuals and technical data sheets;
  • Provide technical support to the NPI specialists;
  • Participate in the selection of personnel during hiring, their supervision, prepare their performance appraisals and other responsibilities related to resource management. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering;
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing high speed electronic cards;
  • Strong expertise:
    • Of Integrated circuits such as FPGA, SOC, high speed memory;
    • Different types of power circuits;
    • Different high speed communication protocols (i.e. PCIe, Ethernet, USB etc.);
    • With laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, etc.);
    • CAD tools;
  • Good skills for supervision and organization of work;
  • Familiarity with CMOS image sensors would be an asset;
  • Knowledge of  the various electrical conformity tests;
  • Good ability to manage priorities;
  • Excellent  interpersonal skills;
  • Fluent in French and English (oral and written).
