Our Human Resources department is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor for our head office in Dorval. The selected candidate’s primary functions will be to complete the entire recruitment process, both for our professional and technical positions.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Human Resources, your tasks will include to:
- Perform all steps of the recruitment process, including drafting the job descriptions, postings, cv management, phone interviews, collaborating with the recruiting managers, face-to-face interviews, drafting and preparing all hiring documentation;
- Actively use and research specialized sites and social networks to increase recruitment opportunities;
- Maintain and improve recruitment tools;
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts allowing you to identify the best candidates in the market;
- Contribute to increasing Matrox’s visibility on the different recruitment platforms and develop relationships with partners (universities, schools, etc.);
- Maintain up-to-date databases and employee records;
- Welcome and integrate new hires;
- Perform other HR related duties, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field;
- 2-5 years experience in recruitment;
- Fluency in French and English, spoken and written;
- Autonomous, strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Knowledge of recruitment tools / sites and ease in integrating social media networks into the recruitment process;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work within a team.
Assets
- Experience in technology and/or engineering fields;
- Experience in other HR areas is an asset;
- Being a member of the Ordre des Conseillers en ressources humaines et relations industrielles.
