Position Summary

The selected candidate will be assigned to one or more software design and development tasks related to the addition or improvement of features of a smart camera or embedded system. Join the systems team of this division that offers you the opportunity to participate in the creation of innovative products in an evolving field. Thus, for embedded PCs and smart cameras, you can put your skills to the benefit of one or more of these fields:

Responsibilities

  • Development of real-time control functions and drivers (acquisition and IOs);
  • Development of interface libraries to industrial control protocols (Profinet, OPC, CClink, EthernetIP, etc.) and robots (ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, etc.);
  • Tool development (configuration, WEB interface, tests);
  • Integration and interaction with the MIL image processing library;
  • Pre-configuration of operating systems (Windows IoT Enterprise and Linux);
  • Development of the BIOS;
  • Support internal and external customers who use the products. 
  • Participate in the maintenance phase (modification or improvement of the source code) of the various modules included during the product integration phase.
  • Liaise with software designers to determine the optimal solutions to implement for the improvement of our product.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree student in Electrical Engineering, computer engineering or computer science;
  • Obtained an overall GPA equal to or greater than 2.9/4.3 or 2.6/4.0;
  • Knowledge of C and/or C++ programming;
  • Knowledge of website development and WEB applications (HTML, CGI, PHP, JAVA, Python, etc.) is an asset.
