Intern, Instructional Design (S-03-30) Fall 2022

Position Summary

Your primary mandate will be to assist in preparing content for Matrox Imaging’s online training platform, Matrox Vision Academy. The online content is primarily narrated videos explaining technical material to computer programmers, engineers, and other technical users.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a needs analysis, which outlines the scope of the videos in a module and the objectives of each video;
• Write narration and create draft videos, possibly including narrating videos;
• Assist in creating finished videos.

Qualifications

• Currently completing a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or another related field;
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills; good French communication is an asset;
• Strong ability to grasp and explain technical concepts, especially computer programming;
• Happy to create a visual story from a blank page;
• Previous experience in technical writing or computer programming is a strong asset.
