Position Summary

As the point of contact for  our customers in the UK and across Europe, you will be responsible for all aspects of customer service. Duties will include extensive liaison with customers, the video Broadcast & Media Group sales team, our offsite logistics/distribution centre and head office, problem solving, raising invoices and shipping paperwork, managing loans and loan stock, and a number of other administrative tasks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with direct customer base, providing a point of contact for processing/tracking orders, Pro-forma invoicing, problem solving, stock enquires/lead times and quotations.
  • Maintenance of open orders, chasing stock availability, assessing account credit status and available funds, tracking incoming Pro-forma payments.
  • Validation of entered orders.
  • Liaison with customers via telephone and email, resolving all presales enquiries.
  • Extensive communication with logistic/distribution centre to ensure the smooth processing and despatch of all customer orders.
  • Maintain customer database for new product ranges, OEM customers and Field Upgrades.
  • Obtain and collate product review and forecast (PRF) information for product ranges and provide updates to head office, for the global PRF.
  • Support the sales team, providing up to date information regarding status of customer orders and stock.
  • Inventory management for EMEA and stock requisition.
  • Liaison with production/planning team to ensure stock levels meet the forecasted requirements where possible and advise sales team and customers of potential delays.
  • Lead & other data entry for sales staff.
  • Management of loans and loan stock.
  • A number of other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Education to A level or equivalent;
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams;
  • Fluent in a second European language, a third would be an asset;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently;
  • Live or willing to relocate within reasonable distance from Harefield office.
