Matrox X.tools build 5078 for use with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0

This is the latest release of Matrox X.tools for use with Adobe Premiere Pro. Here are the main features:

• Adobe Premiere Pro support: This release of Matrox X.tools supports Adobe Premiere Pro. (Adobe Premiere 6.5 is not supported in this release.) It also includes realtime support for the following new Adobe Premiere Pro features:
  • Motion effect Lets you position, rotate, and scale your clips directly in the Program view of the Monitor window.
  • Alpha Adjust effect Lets you ignore the alpha-key channel of your clips.
  • Premiere Pro Real-Time Preview When scrubbing on the Timeline, Adobe Premiere Pro's Real-Time Preview feature lets you preview your Premiere Pro software effects.
  • New realtime speed control methods You can now choose the type of speed control that's best suited for individual clips in your Premiere Pro projects.
• Adobe Photoshop WYSIWYG plug-in: The Adobe Photoshop plug-in, together with your Matrox RT.X100 Xtreme hardware, lets you display your current Adobe Photoshop (version 6.0 or later) image on your NTSC or PAL video monitor.
• 3ds max plug-in support: The Matrox plug-in for 3ds max now supports 3ds max versions 4.0 and 5.0.
• New X.tools installation options: You can now choose a typical installation that installs Matrox X.tools to a default location on your computer, installs all Matrox Effect add-ons, and restarts your computer automatically at the end of the installation.

Note: Because Adobe Premiere Pro supports Microsoft Windows XP only, you must install this release of X.tools on a Windows XP system.

Installation instructions:

To install this release of Matrox X.tools, you must first uninstall any previous release of Matrox X.tools software by choosing Start > Programs > Matrox X.tools > Uninstall. Uninstalling Matrox X.tools removes the Matrox realtime plug-in for Adobe Premiere, as well as Matrox MediaExport and Matrox MediaTools. After uninstalling Matrox X.tools, you must install Adobe Premiere Pro as explained in your Adobe documentation prior to installing this release of Matrox X.tools.

Important:  You must also uninstall all Matrox Effect add-ons and other RT.X software (such as the WYSIWYG plug-ins). To do this, use Add or Remove Programs in Windows Control Panel.
