Note: These updates are required only if you have installed X.tools build 5078 for use with Adobe Premiere Pro (as these updates are already included in later versions of X.tools).

Matrox PCI Optimizer

This utility is required for proper usage of onboard SATA controllers on an RT.X system. Certain motherboards and systems may also require the installation of this utility (see the validated motherboards and validated systems pages for X.tools build 5078 for more information).

Installation instructions:

1. Download the following file: matrox_pci_optimizer.zip (890 KB)
2. Unzip the downloaded file, and follow the instructions in the included Matrox_PCI_Optimizer_Readme.txt file.

Updater for Pinnacle and Canopus DV file compatibility

(February 16, 2004)

This updater lets you play back Pinnacle and Canopus DV AVI files in real time on your Matrox RT.X system.

Tested products:

1. Canopus DVStorm and DVStorm2
2. Pinnacle DV500, DV500 Plus, and DV500 DVD
3. Pinnacle Pro-ONE and Pro-ONE RTDV

Installation instructions:

1. Download the following file: dv_file_updater.exe (3.6 MB)
2. Double-click the downloaded file, and follow the onscreen instructions.
