We installed patches and drivers in the following order:
- Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility, version 3.20.1008.
- 3com integrated Fast ethernet, version 5.41a.A11 , date: 10/31/01, from Dell's website.
- SoundMax integrated sound card, version 5.12.1.3030.A14, from Dell's website.
- Hercules Game theater XP driver, version 3.02.
Comments
- Onboard sound was used and there were no problems to report. An external sound card was also tested (Hercules Game theater XP) and it was compatible.
