System requirements

Important:  Not all of the operating systems and programs listed below are supported for all CompressHD software releases. Matrox CompressHD requires a computer system with the following configuration:

• A computer that supports Streaming SIMD Extensions 2 (SSE2), such as an Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 or later.
• Dual-CPU, or one dual-core CPU.
• Microsoft Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, or Home Premium (64-bit) with Service Pack 1, or Windows Vista Business or Ultimate (64-bit) with Service Pack 2.
• 4 GB of RAM.
• One free PCIe slot.

Supported programs

• Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Encore, and After Effects.

Note: Adobe Media Encoder is included with many Adobe programs, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Encore.
