Matrox-validated computers and motherboards for RT.X2 (Mx.tools 3.x and Adobe Premiere Pro CS3)

Matrox has validated a number of desktop- and workstation-class computers and motherboards for use with Matrox RT.X2. All validated computers and motherboards provide excellent realtime editing capability in SD and some level of realtime editing capability in HD. We have these systems in-house and can troubleshoot them as needed. For each system and motherboard, we provide performance results for the GPUs we have tested, as well as validation recipes that tell you how to configure the system.

Note: Quad-core processor configurations are valid in computers and motherboards that support this technology.

Tests performed using a Dual AMD Opteron 270 dual-core processor in a Tyan Thunder K8WE S2895 motherboard with 2 GB of system RAM and an ATI Radeon X1800 XL 256 MB display card provided realtime performance in HDV and DV as indicated in the following table.
