Matrox Axio.utils version 2.0

Matrox Axio.utils version 2.0 provides the following new features:

• Support for Adobe Production Studio.
  Note: Matrox Axio.utils version 2.0 requires Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. It does not support earlier versions of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Support for Matrox Axio LE
• Realtime mixed format multi-camera editing.
• Voice-over recording in the Timeline.
• WYSIWYG plug-ins for Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, Autodesk Combustion and 3ds Max, eyeon Fusion, and NewTek LightWave 3D.
• Realtime upscaling of SD clips in a 1080i project.
• Support for applying Zoom Levels to clips in Adobe Premiere Pro's Source and Program Monitors.
• Support of Adobe Premiere Pro's Scene Detect feature to batch capture HDV and DVCPRO HD clips over the 1394 interface.
• Media encoding in Adobe Premiere Pro, including export to DVD and export for Clip Notes, benefits from hardware acceleration on Matrox Axio.
• VU meters during capture.
• Improved workflow for performing an HDV export to tape using Matrox DV/HDV device control.
• Improved Matrox chroma key (new Chroma Suppression control).
• The following new realtime/accelerated effects:
  • Matrox shine
  • Adobe Premiere Pro Black and White, Additive Dissolve, and Dip to Black

Installation instructions

To install this version of Matrox Axio.utils, you must first uninstall any previous version of Matrox Axio.utils by choosing Start > All Programs > Matrox Axio.utils > Uninstall Matrox Axio.utils. You must also choose to remove the Matrox effect patterns when prompted.

Important: Before installing Matrox Axio.utils version 2.0, you must install Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 on an NTFS-formatted drive.

After installing Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, you should install any other third-party programs for which you want to install the Matrox WYSIWYG plug-in, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and eyeon Fusion.
