RT.X2 Software updates
Matrox Mx.tools 3.6 requires Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 version 3.2.0, and provides the following new features:
- Support for Microsoft Windows Vista Business or Ultimate (32-bit).
- Support for realtime playback of Sony XDCAM EX .mp4 clips on RT.X2 and RT.X2 LE. Both HQ-mode (1080i/p and 720p) and 1080i/p SP-mode (1440x1080) clips are supported.
- Support for capturing to a Matrox .m2v file that you can use for DVD authoring with Adobe Encore (for SD projects only).
- For clips imported to your Adobe Premiere Pro projects, you can now choose to create both audio conform files and waveform (.pek) files, or create the .pek files only. You can also choose to disable the Matrox RT.X2 splash screen and associated audio when you first open a project after starting Premiere Pro.
- New realtime Matrox 4-point, 8-point, and 16-point garbage matte effects. These effects are similar to the Adobe Premiere Pro garbage matte effects, but include additional options to apply edge softness and adjust the opacity of your garbage matte.
