Matrox-validated computers and motherboards for RT.X2 (Mx.tools 4.0 and Adobe Premiere Pro CS4)

Matrox has validated a number of desktop- and workstation-class computers and motherboards for use with Matrox RT.X2. All validated computers and motherboards provide excellent realtime editing capability in SD and some level of realtime editing capability in HD. We have these systems in-house and can troubleshoot them as needed. For each system and motherboard, we provide performance results for the GPUs we have tested, as well as validation recipes that tell you how to configure the system.

Note: Quad-core processor configurations are valid in computers and motherboards that support this technology.

Performance example

Tests performed using a Dual Intel Xeon 5482 quad-core processor in an HP Workstation xw8600 system with 4 GB of system RAM and an ATI (Sapphire) Radeon HD 4870 TOXIC Edition (512 MB) display card provided realtime performance in HDV and DV as indicated in the following table. This information is provided as a guide only. Many variables can affect individual system performance.
