PAL encoding profiles for Matrox MediaExport with PRO Pack

(February 12, 2002)

When installing Matrox PRO Pack, the Windows Media and RealMedia encoding profiles for Matrox MediaExport are NTSC versions only. The following file includes the PAL encoding profiles for Matrox MediaExport.

1. Download the following file:
   MediaExport_PAL_profiles.zip (4 KB)
   Netscape users Hold down the Shift key while selecting a file to download. This will allow you to specify a save path.
2. Unzip the file to a folder of your choice.
3. Copy the 2 unzipped files (MtxWebCoreTplWinMedia.dat
   and MtxWebCoreTplRealMedia.dat) to your Windows System32 folder on a Windows XP or Windows 2000 system, or to your Windows System folder on a Windows Me or Windows 98 SE system.
4. When prompted to overwrite the existing files, click Yes.

Hotfix for using Adobe After Effects with Matrox PRO Pack

(January 18, 2002)

When installing Matrox PRO Pack version 1.0, the Adobe After Effects plug-in only installs if you are using Adobe After Effects version 5.0. The following hotfix will install the Adobe After Effects plug-in for After Effects version 4.0 or later.

Note Before installing this hotfix, make sure that you have installed Matrox PRO Pack and Adobe After Effects. You do not need this hotfix if you've installed Matrox PRO Pack version 1.0a.

1. Download the following file:
   PROPackAfterEffectsHotfix.exe (969 KB)
   Netscape users Hold down the Shift key while selecting a file to download. This will allow you to specify a save path.
2. Double-click the file to run it.
