Axio Software updates

Matrox Axio.utils 4.0 provides the following new features:

• Support for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, version 4.0.1 (earlier versions of Adobe Premiere Pro are not supported).
• Support for the 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows Vista Business or Ultimate.
• Support for eight SDI embedded audio outputs (four stereo output pairs) on Matrox Axio LE.
• When working with Adobe Encore CS4, you can preview video played back from the timeline on your video monitor by setting the player for your project to Matrox Player (available on the Advanced page of the Project Settings dialog box).

Important: With this release of Matrox Axio.utils, the X.effects card is no longer supported on Axio HD and SD. Instead, these systems now use your system’s display card to process Matrox hardware-accelerated (Flex GPU) effects. For a list of recommended display cards for use with Axio HD and SD, contact your Matrox Axio dealer.
