Primestream's FORK software now supports Matrox DSX LE4 high density SDI I/O video card
MIAMI – Aug. 27, 2015 — Primestream®, a leader in advanced automation and asset management software in cooperation with Matrox® Video, a technology and market leader in SD, HD and 4K digital video hardware today announced support between the Matrox DSX LE4 LP video I/O card and the FORK® Production and FORK Playout software suites. The Matrox card can be used with FORK for high-density ingest, playout and edit-while-capture workflows with Adobe® Premiere Pro, Apple® Final Cut Pro X and Avid® Media Composer.

Ingesting with the Matrox DSX LE4 card can also be utilized with FORK Logger™, for live metadata tagging and sub-clipping. Production playout with the Matrox card is provided by FORK Live Assist™, a multi channel Production Control Room Playout(PCR) module with options such as MOS rundown integration and VDCP/BVW control options. FORK Playout utilizes the DSX LE4 in a Master Control Room style system for scheduled playout of all broadcast standard codecs with resolutions through 4K.

When configured with inputs, the card is equipped with built-in frame synchronizers to ensure clean SDI signals for integration into any environment. The Matrox DSX SDK offers a common API across all Matrox DSX Developer Products providing the full set of powerful tools OEMs need to get quickly to market with a complete product line.
Primestream's FORK integration with Matrox DSX LE4 is available for FORK v5.5.
