We installed patches and drivers in the following order:
- Microsoft Service Pack 2 for Windows 2000.
- Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility, version 2.80.008.
- AC97 AD 1885 audio controller, driver name: z1405u03.exev, date: 10/23/01 from Dell's website.
- 3com 3C905B network controller, version: 5.21.A07, date: 10/11/00.
Comments
- This system's chipset contains the latest stepping of the Intel 82801BA I/O Controller Hub 2 (ICH2), which is required for compatibility with the RT2500. To check if your Pentium 4 system is compatible with RT2500, you can download and run the ValidateP4Chipset utility, found in the Matrox RT2500 software area.
