Matrox RT2000 with Matrox Video Tools 3.1 has been tested and approved for use with Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me, and Windows 98 SE.
You can choose to install Matrox Video Tools 3.1 in any of the following languages:
  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Spanish
All the Matrox dialog boxes and Help files for Matrox Video Tools 3.1 will be displayed in the language you choose.

Matrox RT2000 supports NTSC, NTSC-EIAJ, PAL, and SECAM. SECAM is supported for video input only. When installing the Matrox RT2000 software, you are asked to choose the video standard you want to use with your system. To switch your video standard, you'll need to re-install the RT2000 software.

If you want to use NTSC and PAL on the same system, create a dual-boot system with a boot manager utility such as Boot Magic (available from PowerQuest Corporation).

Yes. Users with systems limited to 64 MB of AGP aperture benefit from ALL of the RT2000 features, including exporting to MPEG-2 IBP format.
