All Pulsar customers should have already received an end-of-life-notice advising
them that Matrox Imaging is no longer accepting orders for this frame grabber. A key component on Pulsar
has been discontinued and we are no longer able to procure it. As a result, Matrox had no choice but to
retire the Pulsar. We will, however, continue to support all registered Pulsar customers and offer repair
services for all Pulsar boards.
In light of this fact, Matrox is encouraging Pulsar customers to migrate to the
lower-cost but functionally equivalent combination of
Meteor-II/Multi-Channel and/or Meteor-II/Digital
frame grabbers with the appropriate Matrox graphics board. Pulsar users requiring a single slot solution
are encouraged to migrate to the Corona-II frame grabber.
