Morphis Quad is ideal for video surveillance applications that require sequential capture from multiple standard sources with minimum latency. Its modular design and simple standard connections provide additional flexibility and cost savings for video surveillance applications that require a scalable number of inputs.

The board captures from NTSC, PAL, RS-170 and CCIR video sources, and supports simultaneous acquisition of up to four live video streams. Morphis Quad's scalable design lets users connect and switch between a maximum of 16 CVBS, 8 Y/C or a combination of inputs. Other standard features include 16 TTL auxiliary I/Os, an RS-485 serial interface, as well as a watchdog timer for automatically recovering from application or system failure, and hardware facilities for implementing custom software-based motion detection.
