Matrox in the UK achieves ISO9002 for marketing, sales and support
Video and Imaging suppliers and customers to benefit from approved quality procedures
Stoke Poges, Bucks, February 7th 2000 – Matrox today announced that it is now BS EN ISO 9002 certified for 'marketing, sales
and support of Video and Imaging products'.
Richard Lewis, Matrox's Senior Logistics and Project Co-Ordinator, responsible for implementing the Quality System,
and now the company's Quality Controller, commented: "We are particularly pleased to have achieved certification at the first attempt
and see the award as recognition that our existing systems were already defined and maintained to a high standard."
The certification was carried out by internationally-recognised provider of certification services N.Q.A. (National Quality Assurance),
of Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
Craig Wheeler, Operations Director of Matrox VITE (Video and Imaging Technology Europe) Limited and Quality Executive, said of the award:
"This sets the seal on the creation of a UK-based European sales, marketing and logistic centre for Matrox in 1999. Now we have proof that the
systems we had already established to provide the best possible service to our customers across EMEA, meet standards that are acknowledged world-wide."
