Matrox Imaging website has a new look and more to offer!

December 1, 1999, Montreal, Canada - Visitors to Matrox Imaging's website will notice something very different the next time they go to www.matrox.com/imaging/. The site has undergone a complete redesign to better reflect Matrox Imaging's role as a leading designer and manufacturer of PC-based hardware and software for scientific and industrial imaging.

"With our previous site launched over a year ago, it was time for a fresh new look," says Josie Martino, Web Master for Matrox Imaging. "The site's content - with its reputation for being highly informative and up-to-date - has not fundamentally changed. Instead, we have made it easier for visitors to learn about the latest offerings and initiatives from Matrox Imaging."

From the new home page, which is continuously updated with the company's latest news, visitors are one click away from product, company and editorial information, technical and third-party support, Matrox Imaging's free quarterly newsletter, and much more. From these main sections, it's a quick jump to the popular Developers' Forum, FTP site, registration, trade show information, among other sections.

"Our website is an important part of an integrated marketing communications strategy. It allows us to quickly and efficiently disseminate information to our development community as well as potential customers," says Martino.

As a global company with offices in France, Germany, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Florida, USA, and sales representatives in more than 20 countries, another goal of the website redesign was to address the demand for multilingual websites.

"Multilingual sites are an extremely important way of communicating with our customers all over the world. Through our comprehensive French and German websites, which are the first of more to come, we are able to address our customers' specific needs, in their own language," adds Martino.
