Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) Processing
Are you interested in learning how to choose and optimally apply the correct image processing tool for
your next application?
Attending Matrox Imaging's intensive 3-day MIL Processing training will teach you how to select the best tools for your application and demonstrate how to use them to their full potential.
This intensive training includes...
In-depth training on MIL's processing tools:
- Image processing primitives
- Basic image processing with MIL
- Multiprocessing with MIL
- GPGPU with MIL
- MIL 2D calibration
- Feature extraction & analysis: MIL Blob Analysis versus MIL Edge Finder
- Pattern recognition & alignment: MIL Pattern Matching (NGC-based) versus MIL Geometric Model Finder versus MIL Registration
- 1D and 2D measurements: MIL Measurement versus MIL Metrology
- Character recognition: MIL OCR (template-based) or MIL String Reader (feature-based)
- MIL 1D/2D Code Reader
- MIL color analysis tools
- MIL 3D calibration and mapping tools

Prerequisites
It is strongly recommended that participants have completed Introduction to the MIL/MIL-Lite Environment Training or have prior experience developing with MIL or MIL-Lite. It is also assumed that participants have a basic understanding of image processing (i.e., image filtering, geometric transformations, etc.). Participants should be comfortable programming in either C++, C# or Visual Basic® using a recent version of Microsoft® Visual Studio® (2005 or later). |
