This is where you find everything you need to know about interfacing cameras to Matrox Imaging hardware.
Camera Interface Application Notes
Matrox Imaging offers detailed Camera Interface Application Notes for cameras that are already interfaced to our hardware. The application notes explain which camera modes are supported and how they are supported, as well as document the required cabling. They include a link to the DCF (digitizer configuration format) file(s) necessary to program the hardware. DCF files are also embedded within the application notes ("View file attachment"). Please note that there are no applications notes for IEEE 1394 IIDC and GigE VisionĀ® cameras because these make use of ready-to-go standards.
Video Specification Form (PDF - 245 KB)
If you require additional assistance in determining if your video source is compatible with Matrox Imaging hardware, email or fax the Video Specification Form to +1 (514) 822-6273. One of our Applications Specialists will then contact you to confirm receipt of your request and work with you to answer your interfacing questions. Please note that this form does not need to be completed for IEEE 1394 IIDC and GigE VisionĀ® devices because these make use of ready-to-go standards.
