May 9, 2006, Boston, Massachusetts - Today at The Vision Show East, Matrox Imaging is pleased to announce the MTX1394b+, an IEEE 1394b adapter card for PC/104-Plus™. "This card, the MTX1394b+, offers customers yet another level of interconnectivity," explains Fabio Perelli, Product Manager.

The MTX1394b+ is intended for use with the Matrox 4Sight M industrial vision computer. The card features 3 ports, is backwards-compatible with the IEEE 1394a standard, and supports transmission speeds up to 800 Mbps. The MTX1394b+ also includes eight auxiliary I/Os for triggers and TTL strobes.
