10-taps with Matrox Imaging and Basler
July 11, 2006, San Francisco, CA - At the Semicon West 2006 show Matrox is pleased to introduce support for the Basler A504k camera series on several Matrox Imaging hardware products.
The Basler A504k is a series of 10-tap, 8-bit cameras for extremely high data rates. "The A504 series generates up to 650 Mpixels per second," explains Lars Hansen, Vision Components Product Manager, Basler. "Imaging hardware support for 10-tap Camera Link™ mode offers enhanced performance and numerous possibilities for our customers. Both Matrox Imaging and Basler are excited about the potential success of this partnership."

Customers can interface the Basler A504 series with the Matrox Odyssey Xpro+ vision processor with the Camera Link module (single-Full), the Matrox Odyssey eCL/XCL (single-Full) vision processor, the Matrox Helios eCL/XCL (single-Full) frame grabber.
