Imaging in the Fast Lane: Matrox Helios and Matrox Odyssey Support PCI Express®
November 8, 2005, Stuttgart, Germany - Today at the Vision 2005 show in Stuttgart, Germany, Matrox Imaging is announcing that PCI Express® is now supported on the Matrox Helios family of frame grabbers and Matrox Odyssey vision processors. "Matrox Imaging is ready for PCI Express®: our customers will be able to take advantage new and future generations of PCs," says Pierantonio Boriero, Product Line Manager, Matrox Imaging.
The first versions available are the Matrox Helios eCL and Matrox Odyssey eCL; both are for Camera Link® acquisition and feature a x4 PCIe™ implementation. Versions for analog and LVDS/RS-422 digital acquisition will follow at a later date.
