  • Matrox Imaging Announces Radient eV-CL Frame Grabber

    Nov. 5, 2014, Montreal — Matrox Imaging today announced the Matrox Radient eV-CL frame grabber, a half-length PCIe® 2.0 x8 card that acquires from all Camera Link® 2.0 sources including the Full/80-bit configurations at up to 85 MHz. Offered in four configurations, Single-Full, Dual-Base, Dual-Full and Quad-Base, all with 1GB SDRAM for ample on-board buffering, the Radient eV-CL will support extended cable lengths as well as Power over Camera Link (PoCL).

  • Matrox Imaging Announces New Entry-Level Matrox 4Sight GPm Industrial Imaging Computer

    Oct. 28, 2014, Montreal — Matrox Imaging today announced a new entry-level Matrox 4Sight GPm industrial imaging computer purpose-built for machine vision on the factory floor. The lower cost unit is based on an Intel® Celeron® J1900 processor and boasts a fanless design that reduces maintenance costs and downtime. The system is equipped with three Gigabit Ethernet ports and a SuperSpeed USB port for connecting to the full range of available GigE Vision® and USB3 Vision® cameras. Two of the Gigabit Ethernet ports support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to streamline cabling.

The socket-based communication protocol was developed by Centre de Robotique et de Vision Industrielles (CRVI), an experienced Quebec technology transfer center specialized in industrial robotics and vision applications.
