    August 18, 2015, Montreal — Matrox Imaging will be offering classroom training on Matrox Design Assistant 4 flowchart-based machine vision software at its Montreal, Canada headquarters October 14–16. The three-day instructor-led course will provide in-depth training on developing applications using Matrox Design Assistant 4, the first hardware-independent integrated development environment (IDE) that lets users easily create an application flowchart and HMI and take projects from concept to completion in record time, without the need for conventional programming.

    Nov. 5, 2014, Montreal — Matrox Imaging today announced the Matrox Radient eV-CL frame grabber, a half-length PCIe® 2.0 x8 card that acquires from all Camera Link® 2.0 sources including the Full/80-bit configurations at up to 85 MHz. Offered in four configurations, Single-Full, Dual-Base, Dual-Full and Quad-Base, all with 1GB SDRAM for ample on-board buffering, the Radient eV-CL will support extended cable lengths as well as Power over Camera Link (PoCL).

    Oct. 28, 2014, Montreal — Matrox Imaging today announced a new entry-level Matrox 4Sight GPm industrial imaging computer purpose-built for machine vision on the factory floor. The lower cost unit is based on an Intel® Celeron® J1900 processor and boasts a fanless design that reduces maintenance costs and downtime. The system is equipped with three Gigabit Ethernet ports and a SuperSpeed USB port for connecting to the full range of available GigE Vision® and USB3 Vision® cameras. Two of the Gigabit Ethernet ports support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to streamline cabling.
