  • Matrox Enhances Radient Line of Frame Grabbers with New Radient eV-CXP for 3D Profiling

    September 21, 2016, Matrox Imaging today announced the Matrox Radient eV-CXP for 3D Profiling, the first member of the Radient eV-Series of frame grabbers to feature on-board 3D profiling using patented Matrox technology. Offering the flexibility to work with any cameras using the CoaXPress interface standard, this PCI Express frame grabber performs the laser line extraction needed for 3D profiling on the card itself, reducing system demand and freeing resources to be used toward the inspection tasks at hand.

  • Matrox Imaging at PACK EXPO 2016 — Product Preview

    September 19, 2016, At PACK EXPO 2016, (Chicago, November 6-9, booth E-7747), Matrox Imaging will be on hand to demonstrate the new Matrox Iris GTR smart camera, as well as the Matrox 4Sight GPm vision controller, both running vision projects created using a new version of the Matrox Design Assistant software to inspect container integrity and marking. The latter inspection task includes reading packaging information printed as dot-matrix text using the new SureDotOCR™ technology, now integrated into Matrox Design Assistant.

    September 15, 2016, At Vision 2016, (Stuttgart, November 8–10, booth1-F 21), Matrox Imaging will demonstrate vision projects created using a new version of the Matrox Design Assistant flowchart-based vision software to inspect container integrity and marking. The projects will run on the new Matrox Iris GTR smart camera as well as the Matrox 4Sight GPm vision controller with two additional cameras.

The three-day instructor-led course will provide in-depth training on developing applications using Matrox Design Assistant 4, the first hardware-independent integrated development environment (IDE) that lets users easily create an application flowchart and HMI and take projects from concept to completion in record time, without the need for conventional programming.

    March 9, 2016, Matrox® Imaging today announced a major update to its core vision software product, Matrox Imaging Library (MIL). MIL 10 Processing Pack 2 for Windows® will give users a variety of new tools to simplify and accelerate application development including Matrox SureDotOCR™, a unique dot-matrix OCR reader, and a reliable ellipse finder. Additional enhancements include 3D cross-section extraction and analysis using the existing metrology tool and a barcode reader that works in more instances without adjusting default settings.

    January 14, 2016, Montreal — Matrox® Imaging today announced Matrox Clarity UHD, a single-slot PCIe® frame grabber that provides Mini DisplayPort®, HD-BNC, HDMI® and custom analog DVI connectivity for SD, HD and UHD video sources. Matrox Clarity UHD can simultaneously acquire multiple video streams such as four HD (1080p60) or two UHD (4K) streams.
