  • Matrox Imaging Announces New Entry-Level Matrox 4Sight GPm Industrial Imaging Computer

    Oct. 28, 2014, Montreal — Matrox Imaging today announced a new entry-level Matrox 4Sight GPm industrial imaging computer purpose-built for machine vision on the factory floor. The lower cost unit is based on an Intel® Celeron® J1900 processor and boasts a fanless design that reduces maintenance costs and downtime. The system is equipped with three Gigabit Ethernet ports and a SuperSpeed USB port for connecting to the full range of available GigE Vision® and USB3 Vision® cameras. Two of the Gigabit Ethernet ports support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to streamline cabling.

    Sept. 23, 2014, Montreal — At Vision 2014 (Messe Stuttgart, Nov. 4–6, stand 1F21), Matrox Imaging will feature live demonstrations for all product lines including Matrox Design Assistant 4 and Matrox Imaging Library vision software, the 4Sight GPm family of industrial imaging computers and the Radient series of frame grabbers.

    Sept. 16, 2014, Montreal — At PACK EXPO 2014 (Chicago, Nov. 2–5, booth 7705), Matrox Imaging will present a live demonstration of a multi-faceted packaging inspection project developed using Matrox Design Assistant 4 vision software. Multiple cameras connected to a Matrox 4Sight GPm industrial imaging computer will inspect products as they move along a conveyor.
