Reporting to the Hardware design group leader, you will in the hardware testing environments for products and graphic chips. You will be evaluating and proceeding with the burn-in of the chips and cards created by the Matrox Graphics division. Tasks and Responsabilities :

  • Assist the engineers with the burn-in of the chips and graphic cards;
  • Responsable for the measurements performed with various testing instruments (oscilloscope, logical analyser, multimeter,power packs, etc.)
  • Chip and graphic cards validation;
  • New electronic components validation;
  • Drafting of test and validation reports;
  • Responsable for the testing environments;
  • Evaluation of testing instruments and automation of such (software);
  • When needed, suggest new tests to the diagnosis team;
  • Designing of microcontroller code;
  • Burn-in of FPGA and patch design;
  • Assist the Production department.

    • Qualifications

  • College diploma in electronics.
  • Excellent knowledge and capacity to use measurements instruments, such as oscilloscope, logical analyser, etc.
  • Very good knowledge with programming languages, such as C.
