Connect multiple DualHead2Go or TripleHead2Go Graphics eXpansion Modules together and drive even more monitors. With the ability to drive up to six outputs (2x TripleHead2Go) in 3x2 or 6x1 or four outputs (2x DualHead2Go) in 2x2 or 4x1 configurations, Multi-GXMs can drive double the number of displays – all from the same system. Matrox currently offers support for the following Multi-GXM feature set with the 2.06 or above GXM software suite available from the driver download page. Be sure to verify your desired configuration with the GXM System Compatibility Wizard or download the GXM System Compatibility Tool to confirm compatibility with your system beforehand.
- Maximum of two GXMs per system.
- GXMs must be of the same make and model. See Multi-GXM Compatibility Table for details.
- Graphics hardware must be a supported model with two available outputs of the required type. Supported models include Matrox M-Series, ATI HD 2000 & newer, ATI Fire MV/GL models, NVidia 8-Series & newer and NVidia Quadro models. For a complete list, visit the GXM system compatibility page.
- Multi-GXM stretched desktop support available only with Matrox M-Series cards.
- Independent desktop support available with supported Matrox M-Series, ATI and NVIDIA graphics cards.1
- GXM software suite 2.06 or above required and available for download from the Driver download page.
- Multiple GXMs are supported under Windows only.
1Independent desktop support refers to the outputs from the graphics add-in card. GXMs only support stretched output on their native outputs.
