The VPX family of controllers are the industry leading price/performance solution for low-end to mid-range video wall and data wall applications. The Matrox VPX-OUT4 and VPX-OUT8 display wall output controllers are at the heart of the VPX family of output and capture controllers and serve the roles of desktop generator, compositor, deinterlacer as well as upscaler and downscaler. Based on Matrox cutting edge graphics technology, each Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) supports 4 output channels. Two GPUs or 8 output channels per single-slot board is possible and up to 2 boards per system is supported enabling up to 16 output channels per system. Optional capture cards for RGB and NTSC/PAL/SECAM are available to add acquisition and real-time streaming capabilities to the system.
