The PPX family of controllers are the industry leading solution for high-end video wall and data wall applications. The Matrox PPX-OUT4 and PPX-OUT8 display wall output controllers are at the heart of the PPX family of output and capture controllers and serve the roles of desktop generator, compositor, deinterlacer as well as upscaler and downscaler. Based on Matrox cutting edge graphics technology, each Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) supports up to 4 output channels and up to 64 displays currently supported4 from a single system. The PPX-OUT8 is ideal for large walls as it optimizes output per channels or for applications requiring moderate performance. The PPX-OUT4 is ideal for HD applications with its support for 1920x1080 outputs and for performance hungry applications as 2 GPUs drive the 4 outputs increasing pixel processing power by two fold. Optional capture cards for RGB, DVI and NTSC/PAL/SECAM are available to add acquisition and real-time streaming capabilities to the system.
