Accelerate IP video decoding. Offload the CPU. Maximize system responsiveness.
The VDA-1164 consists of two add-in boards: a video decoding board that fits into a PCI or PCI-X expansion slot and a PCIe x16 quad-output board capable of powering full HD resolutions. The video decoding board alleviates the burden of decoding multiple IP video streams—up to 16 D1—at the same time from the host CPU, enabling it to focus on other tasks such as access control and situation management. The output board flawlessly displays multiple streams at their native resolutions, at full frame rate on up to four high-definition (quad HD) monitors.
- Simultaneously decodes and displays up to 16 D1 streams*
- Completely offloads the system CPU from the burden of simultaneously decoding multiple IP video streams, maximizing system responsiveness to alarms, operator interactions and other applications
- Displays streams in their captured resolutions across multiple monitors, without compromising image quality or dropping frames
- Supports IP cameras and encoders from leading manufacturers
- Engineered to enable swift integration of new network devices—for a future-proof IP surveillance installation
- Easy-to-use SDK for video management system (VMS) software vendors to enable VDA-1164 support
*Performance dependent on codec and camera type.
