IBC 2013: Matrox Avio F125 KVM Extenders
BroadcastShow interviews Matrox’s Rob Moodey on Avio F125 fiber-optic KVM extenders at IBC 2013. Rob provides an overview of how Avio F125 can be used to extend uncompressed dual-HD or one 2K/4K video, plus keyboard, mouse, stereo analog audio, and USB 2.0 devices all over a single fiber-optic cable. Rob also discusses how Avio F125 can be combined with a compatible 10Gbps network switch to create a high-bandwidth KVM extension & switching solution or be paired with a second Avio F125 to extend 4K video at 60Hz.

High-Bandwidth KVM Extension and Switching Solution
Matrox Avio KVM extenders facilitate the centralization of systems in a secure, climate-controlled location as users continue to work off remote desktops. Combined with a compatible 10Gbps network switch, Avio lets users access multiple workstations from one or more locations at different times. With Avio’s single fiber-optic cable design, this enables the highest bandwidth KVM extension and switching solution for unparalleled switch-to-desktop density.

InfoComm 2013: High-Performance KVM Extension & Switching Solution with Matrox Avio F125
Caroline Injoyan, business development manager at Matrox Graphics Inc., provides an overview of the Matrox Avio F125 fiber-optic KVM extender and the APCON 10Gbps network switch as a high-bandwidth KVM extension & switching solution at InfoComm 2013. At the show, four Avio F125 Transmitter-connected systems delivered signals to the APCON switch, each taking up but a single port on the switch. The single Avio F125 Receiver unit at the remote location was then used to effortlessly switch between the four systems, with real-time performance that is critical in a wide range of high-end professional applications.

Matrox Avio F125: High Performance Fiber-Optic KVM Extenders
Matrox Avio F125 KVM Extenders enable users to work off their computers from a distance, while maintaining real-time performance. Featuring a transmitter/receiver pair, Avio delivers two HD videos or one 2K/4K video, along with USB2.0, analog audio, keyboard and mouse. Avio maximizes performance by extending all these signals uncompressed, with zero latency over a single duplex LC-LC fiber optic cable.

Matrox Avio Series Fiber-Optic KVM Extenders
Matrox Avio F120 and F125 KVM extenders consist of a transmitter and receiver pair. The Avio transmitter unit captures I/O functionality of the host computer and sends it uncompressed over a single duplex LC-LC fiber optic cable to the Avio receiver unit, letting you separate the computer from the user environment and place it in a climate controlled machine room. Its high bandwidth transmission maintains system performance and does not introduce any latency or dropped frames.
