DRK 2010: RIS/PACS Providers Including Fujifilm Europe and GE Healthcare Demonstrate Matrox Xenia Series
Flexible triple-display support and easy installation make Xenia Series the right choice for medical imaging professionals
Montreal, Canada, May 21, 2010 — Matrox Xenia Series display controller boards are widely recognized as providing strong, reliable performance for medical imaging applications, with flexible triple-display support and easy installation to facilitate RIS/PACS workstation deployment. This was reflected on the exhibition floor at DRK 2010 last week, where healthcare providers were able to see Xenia Series demonstrated together with diagnostic monitors and RIS/PACS solutions from a number of companies, including Fujifilm Europe, GE Healthcare, MediDOK, NEC Display Solutions, VISUS and WIDE.
GE Healthcare has recently approved Xenia Series for Centricity RIS/PACS in Germany and was demonstrating their diagnostic workstation solutions with Matrox boards at the show. Fujifilm Europe chose Matrox Xenia Pro boards to drive high resolution displays at multiple Synapse PACS workstations. JiveX Mammography workstations in the VISUS booth and PACS workstations in MediDOK’s booth were also equipped with Matrox Xenia Series. NEC Display Solutions showcased their latest medical monitors with Xenia Series technology, while WIDE featured their new 10MP display with the Xenia Pro.
