JUSHA Pairs Matrox Xenia Series Boards with JUSHA Medical LCDs

CMEF Spring 2010 provides opportunity for new radiology display solutions in China

Montreal, Canada / Nanjing, China, April 18, 2010 — Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of specialized graphics solutions, today announced that Nanjing Jusha Display Technology Co. Ltd. (南京巨鲨显示科技有限公司), a leading Chinese medical display manufacturer, will be demonstrating Matrox Xenia Pro display controller boards together with JUSHA-5MP (5M 灰阶显示器) and JUSHA-3MP (3M 灰阶显示器) medical monochrome monitor solutions at the China International Medical Equipment Fair in Shenzen, China (April 18-21, 2010). CMEF Spring 2010 visitors are encouraged to visit JUSHA at booth # H1-C28 in the main hall of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.

"JUSHA is very excited about the co-operation with Matrox,” commented Steve Zong, executive vice president of Jusha. “Matrox's medical display controller board solution enables Jusha to further enhance its product line."

"Matrox is looking forward to the introduction of these new platforms in China in co-operation with JUSHA," said George Rigas, business development manager for medical imaging, Matrox Graphics Inc. "With JUSHA's high quality imaging displays powered by Matrox Xenia's performance enhancing feature set, medical imaging professionals can enjoy improved diagnostic efficiency and radiology workflow."

JUSHA medical displays are specially designed for PACS workstations. Features include the Ins-Guard™ automatic luminance and thermal stabilizing system which controls and maintains the display’s brightness at the factory or user set level, eliminates the traditional maintenance required for DICOM compliancy, and reduces the warm up time to approximately 1 minute so that radiologists can begin their diagnostic review faster than with many other LCD displays. The JUSHA medical display brand is recognized by radiology departments throughout China, with a growing number of installations including the West China hospital in Sichuan province, the Wuhan Union hospital in Hubei province, and the Olympic Village hospital at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

Matrox Xenia Series boards support up to three high resolution digital grayscale and/or color displays from a single PCI Express board with up to 1 GB of onboard memory, and are designed for easy installation in PACS, RIS/HIS and mammography diagnostic workstations, displaying patient images from the full range of medical imaging modalities. A flexible and expandable solution, Xenia Series provides medical imaging developers and integrators looking for leading edge technology the development potential for increasing hardware-accelerated performance via hardware LUTs, multiple hardware window IDs, and additional hardware features.
