Gaming enthusiasts from around the globe converged at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California to witness firsthand the latest and greatest technology at this year's Game Developers Conference. Matrox Graphics Inc., the leader in multi-display technology took this opportunity to announce the newest edition to the line of Graphics eXpansion Modules (GXM), the TripleHead2Go Digital Edition.

The TripleHead2Go Digital Edition station was impressive and attendees flooded to the booth in anticipation—they wanted to experience Surround Gaming. Coined by Matrox, Surround Gaming involves expanding supported 3D games across three displays while providing a panoramic view of the game, which fully engages your peripheral vision. This eye-catching station was equipped with a TripleHead2Go Digital Edition, three 19" ViewSonic VX922 gaming displays and an Alienware Area 51 7500 gaming system in SLI configuration. Attendees could choose from a wide variety of installed games to play, which included: rFactor, GTR2 and GT Legends.
|
Also featured, the TripleHead2Go Analog Edition powered an impressive triple-display configuration as well. Running three ViewSonic VX922 displays at a resolution of 3840x1024 (triple 1280x1024 per display) off a Dell XPS notebook, TripleHead2Go Analog Edition increases your desktop space and delivers an enhanced gaming experience.
Matrox TripleHead2Go product line supports an extensive list of gaming titles across a wide variety of game genres, some of which include: ANNO 1701, Age of Empires 3: The Warchiefs, Gothic 3, World of Warcraft, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, Unreal Tournament 2004, Counter-Strike: Source, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and many more.
