Multi-display Remote Graphics Units (RGUs)
The Matrox Extio™ F1220 multi-display Remote Graphics Unit enables the extension of one or two displays, audio, two IEEE 1394 FireWire ports, and up to six USB devices, such as keyboard and mouse, by up to 820 feet (250 meters) of fiber-optic cable. In addition, Extio F1220 features passive (fanless) cooling and PCI Express technology, which makes it an ideal solution for professional and mission critical applications requiring a reliable and stable graphics and I/O extension solution. By separating the computer from the monitors and user-interface, the Extio series of products helps address issues such as security, heat, noise, system maintenance and support in high-reliability computing environments.
